In July 2016, we will officially launch Cup Noodles with 2 flavors:
“Japanese Seafood” and “Thai Tom Yum”
Nissin Vietnam Food Company Limited will launch the Vietnamese version of Cup Noodles from July 2016, and in July will focus on promoting it in supermarket chains and convenience stores.
The Cup Noodles product, first sold in Japan in 1971, is a product that is widely sold in more than 80 countries today and is a best-selling product with more than 40 billion servings per year.
Vietnam is the 4th largest consumer of instant noodles in the world with more than 4.8 billion servings consumed each year, behind China, Indonesia and Japan (according to WINA statistics). But up to this point, the majority of the instant noodle market in Vietnam is instant noodles, so our company has not launched Cup Noodles products in the past in the Vietnamese market. Now, following the changes in consumers' lives as well as the rapid development of distribution channels, realizing the opportunity to popularize this product line, the company has decided to launch cup noodles. Cup Noodles Vietnamese version targets the Vietnamese market.
With the first launch strategy, Nissin Company will launch the product Cup Noodles with 2 flavors: Japanese Seafood - A favorite seafood flavor in Japan and other Asian countries. Thai Tom Yum flavor (Thai Tom Yum) - Popular flavor in Japan. With products with rich ingredients and soups with unique flavors, Nissin Company aims to develop the Cup Noodle market in Vietnam.
